MIA...Major Catch-Up

Boy do I dislike the feeling of falling behind!  The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions, chaos, and the busyness of every day life.  Pictures speak a thousand words so I'm going to go through the happenings of the last 2 weeks in photos...Here we go...

The Saturday before Father's Day we went to the horse track, my dad loves it there and we all had a great time.
No big winners though!

This was the only picture I snapped on Father's Day, my bad!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, these two are best buds.

My parent's had their 33rd wedding anniversary, and shots from the waitress.

After dinner we went back to their house and got there JUST in time.
A huge storm blew through the area and took out tons of trees, including one of my parents beautiful pines.

We spent Saturday being lumberjacks and cleaning up the mess
(notice the neighbors fence in which the tree fell on, thank goodness it didn't fall on the house!)

Jazz Festival was going on this past weekend, 2 blocks from our place..hello convenience:)

The following photos are from one of my best friend's wedding.  About 2 weeks ago we found out some hard news about her mom who has been fighting cancer since 2011.  It was obviously very important to all involved that Jean be able to see Becky and Mike get married, so they took on the challenging task of planning a wedding in just two weeks.  Becky and Mike are perfect for each other and knew all along that they would get married, this just sped up the process.  Becky has always amazed me with her strength during all of this and she of course, made a beautiful wedding come together with just two weeks to plan.

Dress time...

How amazing do they look?!

 Me and my love

It was truly a beautiful, perfectly intimate wedding.

I hope you all have a fun and SAFE 4th of July!
